Apperson’s inventory control is fully automated through our WMS software designed specifically for multiple branch location distribution. This software, combined with our proprietary automated shipping system offering “real time” information, allows Apperson to offer state-of-the-art inventory control and flexible billing options.
Each customer is assigned an inventory control specialist in each location where inventory is stored. All items are bought into our customers’ inventory under a specific control number. All pertinent information is entered under this control number such as:
- Reorder amounts
- Billing instruction
- Reorder points

We’ve realized a growing need with many of our customers is the requirement to fulfill multiple items from inventory, combine them, and then place each set into an envelope, packet or kit prior to shipping to one or more end users.

National companies with multiple locations realize substantial freight savings when compared to a single distribution point. We also utilize third party partners to warehouse for us for those customers needing local or regional service, and their systems are fully integrated with our system.
