“I’ve worked for Apperson for 5 ½ years and can honestly say it’s one of the best jobs I’ve had.  The people are wonderful and everyone works so well together.  It’s fun to come to work every day.    Customers tell me all the time that I sound so happy when I answer the phone and that’s why!

Our customers are great as well.  It’s a great feeling when I can help a customer find the right forms for their scanner or get their order out as soon as possible when they forget to place their order.  Customers are very appreciative when I see a form on their order that they haven’t ordered before and check to make sure they are ordering the correct item.  Nine times out of ten, they need to change the item!  It feels good to have customers call and all they need to say is their first name and I know exactly who they are.  They become friends.

Apperson is a wonderful company that I am proud to call my family. I have made wonderful relationships with my coworkers and customers and treat everyone as family. I hope to work for Apperson for a long time to come and make many new friends!”

Gretchen Bashant

Years at Apperson: 6

Gretchen joined Apperson in July of 2012 as a Client Services Representative.  She is originally from Pennsylvania, but like the weather in North Carolina much better.  In her free time, Gretchen enjoys reading, movies, and spending time with her family and pets.

 

 

“A customer contacted Apperson in a panic. She was administering the ELA test for math for grades 3-8 and discovered their current state standards were not updated in DataLink Connect. She was extremely frustrated. Product support immediately responded with a workaround by sending her the link to download the Learning Objective Editor and provided detailed instructions. Within four days of the issue, the standards were updated into DataLink Connect. The customer was thrilled that the Apperson team responded immediately and resolved the issue.”
